Terms of Service

Last updated: March 7, 2026

Welcome to Click Guardian. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Click Guardian platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Further Forward Innovation Ltd, trading as Click Guardian ("Click Guardian", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, accessing the dashboard, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. We encourage you to also review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of your agreement with us.

1. Service Description

Click Guardian is a click fraud detection and traffic quality platform designed to help advertisers protect their paid advertising campaigns. Understanding what Click Guardian does and does not do is important.

Click Guardian IS:

  • A click fraud detection platform that monitors traffic to your advertising landing pages
  • A tool that analyses click data using behavioural analysis, device fingerprinting, and pattern recognition
  • A system that identifies and flags fraudulent or suspicious clicks on your paid ads
  • A traffic quality scoring engine that rates the legitimacy of each visit
  • A blocking service that automatically excludes suspicious IP addresses from your ad campaigns
  • A reporting and analytics platform that provides visibility into your traffic quality
  • A fake lead detection tool that identifies fraudulent form submissions

Click Guardian IS NOT:

  • An ad campaign management or optimisation tool
  • A guaranteed fraud prevention or elimination service — no tool can catch 100% of fraud
  • An insurance product or financial guarantee against advertising losses
  • A payment processor, billing intermediary, or financial services provider

2. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities

To use Click Guardian, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  1. You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.
  2. You must be a business owner, marketing professional, or authorised representative of a business entity with the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
  3. You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information when creating your account.
  4. You must maintain the security of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you have authorised such activity. Click Guardian reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Click Guardian solely for its intended purpose of protecting your legitimate advertising campaigns. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  1. Circumventing advertising platform policies. You may not use Click Guardian to manipulate click data, generate artificial impressions, inflate metrics, or engage in any activity that violates the terms of service of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, or any other advertising platform.
  2. Illegal activities. You may not use the Service to engage in, facilitate, or support any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law, including fraud, money laundering, or identity theft.
  3. Harassment or abuse. You may not use data, reports, or information obtained through Click Guardian to harass, threaten, stalk, or harm any individual or business. This includes using IP data or visitor information to identify or target specific individuals.
  4. Reverse engineering. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or data models of Click Guardian's detection engine, Verideon platform, or any part of the Service.
  5. Prohibited data use. You may not sell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit any data, reports, or analytics generated by Click Guardian, except for your own internal business purposes.

4. Billing & Payment Terms

Click Guardian offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Full details of available plans and pricing are published on our Pricing page.

  • All subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan).
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Prices are listed exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax, etc.), which will be added where required by law.
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout.
  • Click Guardian reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' prior notice. Existing subscriptions will be honoured at the current rate until the next renewal.

How to cancel: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard by navigating to Settings > Billing > Cancel Subscription. Alternatively, you can email support@clickguardian.ai and our team will process your cancellation. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

5. Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with Click Guardian within the first 30 days of your paid subscription, we will issue a full refund. No questions asked. Simply email support@clickguardian.ai with your account details and the word "Refund" in the subject line. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days.

After the initial 30-day period, refunds are not available for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period, but no prorated refund will be issued. Annual plan refunds after 30 days are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

6. Service Availability & SLA

Click Guardian strives to maintain high availability for all customers. Our standard service targets are as follows:

  • Uptime target: 99.9% on a best-effort basis for all standard plans.
  • Planned maintenance: Scheduled during low-traffic windows with at least 48 hours' advance notice via email and dashboard notification.
  • Enterprise SLA: Customers on Enterprise plans may negotiate custom service level agreements with defined uptime commitments and remedies.

Click Guardian is not liable for service interruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: internet outages, third-party service failures (such as Google Ads or Microsoft Ads API changes), force majeure events, or actions taken by your hosting provider or ISP.

7. Limitations of Liability

Click Guardian is a detection tool, not an insurance policy. While we invest heavily in our detection capabilities, no click fraud solution can guarantee the identification of 100% of fraudulent clicks. We do not guarantee specific results, savings, or return on investment from using the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Click Guardian shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.
  • Click Guardian shall not be liable for any losses arising from fraudulent clicks that were not detected or blocked by the Service.
  • Click Guardian shall not be liable for any actions taken by third-party advertising platforms in response to data provided by our Service.

Liability cap. In all cases, Click Guardian's total aggregate liability arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Click Guardian during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

Your data. You retain all ownership rights to the data you provide to Click Guardian, including your advertising account data, website analytics, and any business information submitted through the Service. We do not claim ownership of your data.

Our platform. Click Guardian retains all ownership rights to the Service, including but not limited to: the Click Guardian platform, the Verideon detection engine, all software code, algorithms, detection models, user interface designs, trademarks, logos, and documentation. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the Service as described herein.

Aggregated data. We may use anonymised and aggregated data derived from your use of the Service to improve our detection algorithms, generate industry benchmarks, and enhance the Service for all customers. This aggregated data will not identify you or your business.

9. Marketing & Logo Usage

By using Click Guardian, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your company name and logo on our website, marketing materials, and customer lists for the sole purpose of identifying you as a Click Guardian customer.

Opt-out. You may opt out of this permission at any time by emailing support@clickguardian.ai with the subject line "Marketing Opt-Out". We will remove your company name and logo from our materials within 30 days of receiving your request.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information exchanged during the course of using the Service. "Confidential Information" includes, but is not limited to: business strategies, customer lists, pricing structures, technical specifications, and any information marked as confidential.

Each party agrees to:

  • Use the other party's Confidential Information only for the purposes of performing obligations under these Terms.
  • Protect the other party's Confidential Information with at least the same degree of care used to protect its own confidential information, but no less than reasonable care.
  • Not disclose the other party's Confidential Information to any third party without prior written consent, except as required by law.

Confidentiality obligations survive the termination of these Terms for a period of two (2) years.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Click Guardian, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

  • Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
  • Your breach of any representation or warranty made under these Terms.
  • Any claim by a third party arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to claims related to your advertising campaigns or business operations.
  • Your violation of the Acceptable Use Policy outlined in Section 3.

12. Termination

By you. You may terminate your account and these Terms at any time by cancelling your subscription through the account dashboard (Settings > Billing > Cancel Subscription) or by emailing support@clickguardian.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

By Click Guardian. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if you: (a) violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; (b) engage in activity that harms Click Guardian, its customers, or third parties; (c) fail to pay applicable fees after reasonable notice; or (d) if we are required to do so by law.

Effect of termination. Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service ceases immediately (or at the end of your billing cycle, if you cancel voluntarily). We will retain your data for 30 days following termination to allow you to export your information. After this 30-day period, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Limitations of Liability, Indemnification, Confidentiality, and Governing Law — shall survive.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

In the event of a dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, the parties agree to the following resolution process:

  1. Informal resolution. The parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by exchanging written correspondence and engaging in good-faith negotiation for a period of at least 30 days.
  2. Mediation/Arbitration. If informal resolution fails, the dispute shall be referred to binding arbitration administered under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), with a single arbitrator, conducted in English.
  3. Litigation. If arbitration is not applicable or enforceable, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights or confidential information.

14. Modifications to Terms

Click Guardian reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email to the address associated with your account.
  • Post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
  • Display a prominent notice within the Click Guardian dashboard.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
